Class Objective
This year we will work together to deepen and advance our knowledge, understanding, & skill of mathematical concepts introduced in 6th grade math. Through hands-on and engaging investigations we will make connections between math and other disciplines and practice our craft of reasoning and justifying our thinking.
Brave & Safe Space
This classroom is a safe and brave space with a zero tolerance for any hateful or harmful speech/actions.
Everyone is welcome to be their true and authentic selves.
We will learn to be comfortable taking risks and challenging our thinking by creating a classroom community built on trust, kindness, and compassion. We will work towards lifting each other up, seeking justice, and celebrating each other's differences.
